This October, our Partner Sandy Martinez and Audit Senior Claudia Valdez-Perez had the honor of attending the 36th Annual Hispanic Foundation Ball, hosted by the Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley (HFSV)

Held on Saturday, October 4th, this year’s event welcomed over 650 guests and 47 sponsors, raising an incredible $800,000 to support HFSV’s mission of advancing education, leadership, and philanthropy within the Latino community. A Night of Purpose and Pride 

For more than three decades, the Hispanic Foundation Ball has been a beacon of inspiration in Silicon Valley—recognizing leaders, families, and organizations who are uplifting the Latino community through education and innovation. The funds raised directly fuel HFSV programs that empower Latino youth and families, including their Latino Board Leadership Academy and Latinos in Technology Scholarship—two initiatives that help close the opportunity gap and create pathways into STEM careers. 

“This event isn’t just a fundraiser—it’s a celebration of dreams taking flight,” said Sandy Martinez, Partner at BryMar CPA. “Seeing hundreds of people come together in support of future generations of Latino leaders reminds us why we do what we do. It’s about building trust, opportunity, and sustainable impact.” 

First Impressions and Lasting Inspiration 

For Claudia Valdez-Perez, this was her first time attending the Hispanic Foundation Ball—and it was an experience she won’t soon forget. 

“Walking into that ballroom, surrounded by so many successful and passionate members of the Latino community, was incredibly inspiring,” Claudia shared. “You could feel the pride in every speech, every performance, every handshake. It reminded me that when we support one another, we can create real, generational change.” 

The evening featured stunning performances, heartfelt testimonials, and an atmosphere of joy that radiated throughout the ballroom. Guests enjoyed a night of dancing, laughter, and celebration—all while honoring the foundation’s mission of empowering Latinos through education, leadership, and philanthropy.

The Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley, led by Ron Gonzales, continues to make an extraordinary impact year after year. Under his leadership, HFSV has expanded its reach and strengthened its programs, creating opportunities for thousands of students and professionals across Silicon Valley.
